How to read this comparison

Every figure below comes from the named manufacturer's own product page. Two numbers matter most: capacity in watt-hours, which sets runtime, and output in watts, which sets what you can run at once. Surge or boost wattage is a separate short-burst figure for starting motors.

Do not conflate capacity with output. A station with more watt-hours runs longer, but a station with higher output watts can drive a larger appliance. Both units here also expand capacity with add-on batteries, which changes stored energy but not the base output rating.

No winner is declared here. The right pick depends on the loads you need to start, how long you need to run them, and how much you plan to expand.

EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3, from EcoFlow's specs

EcoFlow lists the DELTA Pro 3 base unit at 4,096 Wh capacity with 4,000 W rated output at both 120 V and 240 V. Its X-Boost technology lets the unit exceed its rated output up to 6,000 W when needed.

On chemistry and lifespan, EcoFlow specifies LFP battery technology that retains 80% capacity after 4,000 cycles.

For expansion, EcoFlow lists a capacity range of 4 to 48 kWh by adding batteries and additional power stations, and notes maximum continuous output of 4,000 W is maintained even during pass-through charging.

Anker SOLIX F3800, from Anker's specs

Anker lists the SOLIX F3800 at 3,840 Wh capacity with 6,000 W continuous AC output at 120 V and 240 V dual voltage, plus 9,000 W AC surge output.

On chemistry and lifespan, Anker specifies LFP cells rated for 3,000-plus cycles and describes EV-grade LFP batteries with a 10-plus year lifespan, backed by a 5-year warranty.

For expansion, Anker lists support for up to six expansion batteries at 3.84 kWh each, and a maximum system configuration of 12 kW and 53.8 kWh. The unit weighs 132.3 pounds.

Where they differ on paper

On capacity the base units are close, with EcoFlow listing 4,096 Wh and Anker listing 3,840 Wh. The larger gap is in output: Anker lists 6,000 W continuous with 9,000 W surge, while EcoFlow lists 4,000 W rated output that X-Boost can push to 6,000 W. That means Anker's continuous output is higher on paper, while EcoFlow reaches 6,000 W only in boost mode.

On chemistry both use LFP, but the stated cycle numbers differ: EcoFlow lists 80% capacity after 4,000 cycles, and Anker lists 3,000-plus cycles. Both quote long service lifespans.

On maximum expansion, Anker lists up to 53.8 kWh and 12 kW at full configuration, while EcoFlow lists a 4 to 48 kWh range. Both deliver 120 V and 240 V. Which fits depends on the surge demand of your heaviest load, desired runtime, and how far you plan to expand.
